Vestibular Physiotherapy for Dizziness, Vertigo and Balance

Expert Vestibular Physio Rehabilitation Therapy for problems with Dizziness (light headed and feel like you’re going to faint), Vertigo (room is spinning around), Balance (reflex responses to falling) or Concussion (usually due to head impact or trauma).

Vestibular Physiotherapy is a specialized form of physiotherapy aimed at treating those conditions that may cause dizziness, vertigo or balance problems. Dizziness can include symptoms such as spinning, feeling light-headed, woozy, general feeling of imbalance and motion sensitivity.

The vestibular system is comprised of the inner ear (labyrinth) and brain that help control:

  1. Balance

  2. Spatial orientation

  3. Coordination of eye and head movements

When the vestibular system is damaged or not functioning properly, it can lead to dizziness, vertigo, nausea, and problems with balance.

The conditions that we treat include:

  • Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
